Mindee you're so cute! I saw a close up of my face the other day and could not believe the lines around my eyes. I was smiling so they were more pronounced or at least that's what I'm telling myself. I'm way younger on the inside than I am on the outside : )

No lie - I schedule a salon appointment with full blow-out for the morning before every appointment where I'll be required to get a photo. I.E. Driver's License, passport, etc. Everyone always remarks on how great my hair looks - I never tell them its because i just dropped $50 twenty minutes before the photo was taken.

You aren't alone in hating cameras.

Mindee, I am glad you know that this too will pass. I look in the mirror and wonder where this 54 year old woman came from. I know I was thirty just yesterday and twenty five the day before that. It happens we age and well we sort of get used to it. I think you look great.

I had my wallow day last week. I looked in the mirror and just saw a tired, mom with wrinkles. I promptly went to the drugstore and bought all sorts of stuff to try and hide the fact that I am a tired mom. Hang in!

I totally feel the same way. When I look in the mirror, I see a person who is certainly not drop dead gorgeous, but is okay. When I see photos of myself, I literally can't believe it. I have asked Mike more than once if that was really what I looked like. It's like when there is a camera around I turn into Sir-Longface-with-a-mustache-Navaho-warrior. My genetic makeup can't decide which way to go when there is a lens present.

Adult Acne! Be thankful that your picture showed no visible signs of that. Every time we schedule our family pictures I break out with at least a handful of Mount Everest size zits! I'd gladly take circles and bags over that. But seriously, you are a beautiful woman and if I didn't already know the ages of your kids, I'd say you were still in your 30's.
