Wordless Wednesday - Bossing The Tooth Fairy

Faith lost a tooth while eating her Cheerios the other day.  This is what Rich and I found when we went up to bed that night.

Faith, hair still wet, sound asleep with her light on.

She had carefully placed herself next to this note.

She doesn't even believe in the tooth fairy.

We gave her an extra dollar for sheer audacity and cuteness.

Passive-Aggressive notes had a note to the toothfairy this morning http://www.passiveaggressivenotes.com/2010/02/09/look-tooth-fairy-heres-the-deal/

I just thought it was a funny coincidence. I kept most of my baby teeth too. I'm just not sure how I got them back from the "tooth fairy" when I was a kid.

i once got five extra points on a chemistry exam for writing "fish poop" on an essay question. she was happy i made her laugh.

the lesson to be learned? audacity gets you everywhere in life. good to see your girl has plenty of it.

I WAS relieved to find all my teeth in my mother's jewelry box later in life. Though...slightly disturbed by it now.

My mother in law handed me a ziplock baggie full of all of my husband's teeth when we got married.
    Is that not strange?

i have to take a page out of your birth order comments...only the youngest gets an extra buck for cuteness right? :) i have thinking i'd do a post someday on the fact that Em has swallowed 4 of the 8 teeth she has lost. what is up with that? "NO TOOTH FAIRY FOR YOU!"

Sooo funny. Poor Michaela. We didn't do the tooth fairy with her, and then when Christian lost teeth, having been to school, he was sure the tooth fairy would come. What could we do? I'll have to make it up to her sometime. :)
I thought it was going to tell how much to leave as well...that's sweet that she wants to keep her teeth. I remember PW writing a post about the limoge boxes she collects and one of them was for baby teeth (I think one at a time, though, like to leave for the tooth fairy). Maybe Faith needs a special little place to keep them all.

    Ha, that is great!

What ever do you do with those teeth? My sister has all hers but my disappeared.

And them I received my husband's first 'lost' tooth when I was pregnant with our first girl.
    *gag*
I'm keeping it, just because I want to remind myself how disturbing I find it so that I don't do it to them when they grow up.
