    Another Conversation With Reagan

We were driving the other day when this song came on.

The lyrics for the chorus are:

    If you're going through hell
Keep on going, don't slow down
If you're scared, don't show it
    You might get out
Before the devil even knows you're there

Reagan turned the radio up to sing along. “Oh I just love this song! It’s by Winston Churchill!”

There was a long pause while Hayden and I looked at each other and then completely busted up laughing. Between snorts, Hayden explained that Winston Churchill was England’s prime minister during WWII. NOT a country singer. That would be Rodney Atkins.

Reagan was a good sport and able to laugh at herself.

    However.

When I was googling the lyrics for this post I discovered that they are based on a quote by . . . Winston Churchill.

Score one for Reagan. Not full credit though. Winston Churchill did not sing.
